I am a Senior Fellow and Lecturer at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I also hold a Chair in Corporate Governance and Finance at the University of Lancaster, UK. I live in Philadelphia.
My research is in the field of economics and management. I am an expert on corporate governance including executive compensation and corproate boards of directors. I have published more than 50 articles, books, or book chapters relating to corporate governance.
My research has appeared in leading journals including the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and the Academy of Management Journal. It has also appeared in major economics and finance journals including the Review of Financial Studies, the Economic Journal, and the Journal of Corporate Finance.
I am an editorial board member of the Strategic Management Journal, Strategic Organization and Corporate Governance: An International Review.
